1st Day of School

So, Peyton had his first day of school today. I think he was nervous because last night he got up 3 times and wasn't sleeping very good. But, he slept in this morning and was ready to go when he got up. I dropped him off at 9 a.m. and he went right into his room and started playing. I gave him a quick hug bye and snuck out. Me and a friend went to breakfast together and then to Costco to pass some time. It was so weird not having the kiddos with us and so quiet here at the house. I missed him so much!! When I picked him up at 1 he was still having fun and laughing so overall it was a success. He was very excited to see me and quickly asked for Woody once we were in the car. He isn't supposed to bring toys from home so we had to put Woody and Bullseye (Woody's horse) in Peyton's backpack while he was in school. Peyton wasn't too excited about this but forgot about them once he walked in class. I was so glad to have him back in my arms after those 4 hours. I am sure I will enjoy the time more once we have done it more than once but it sure was hard the first day. Here are some pictures from his first day.

He loves this kitchen. We might have to get him one.Here Peyton is in his classroom right before I picked him up. There are 5 boys in his class and 3 girls. So the boys will have some competition.

3rd Hair cut

I took Peyton to get his 3rd hair cut today. He is starting school tomorrow (mother's day out) and so I thought a nice hair cut was a must. He loves this place because he can watch a movie while he is getting a trim. Its to funny. Here are some pictures.
Peyton thinks he is playing X-box. There was a big kid playing on it before him. Peyton also gets to have a lollipop while relaxing in his race car. As you can see Peyton has a new favorite toy. Here you can see Woody's legs sticking out. He goes with us everywhere now.My precious boy. He is growing up so fast. I can't believe it. Wish us luck tomorrow. It will be sad to drop him off at school tomorrow but also nice having some time to myself. I promise to post some pictures of his first day.

Baby Shower

My awesome Playgroup Mamas gave Kathie (another playgroup Mama who is due within a day of me) a shower today. It was so much fun. We got a ton of good stuff. Thank you girls, I love you guys!!!

Jungle Java

We went to this cool place this morning with some friends. It is called Jungle Java and they serve food and coffee and it has this huge area for the kids to play in. Peyton had the best time running all around. I don't know how he gets so much energy. I tried to keep up with him for awhile but I'm getting bigger by the day and wasn't really fitting into all the small spaces he was. He was perfectly fine going all around by himself. It was really fun watching him have so much fun. Here are some pictures of him and his friends playing. If you haven't been to this place you need to go.

Update

So, after Peyton we found Peyton wandering in our room at 3:00 in the morning the other night we decided we would have to do something so he couldn't get out of his room. We had the monitor on but he did not make a sound to wake us up and let us know that he was not asleep in his bed. Hopefully he came straight to our room and was not up running around the house for hours. Anyways, last night we bought a baby gate to put up in front of his door. He woke up once at 1:00 and was calling me so I went in and put him back in bed and he slept the rest of the night in his big boy bed. I was so excited to wake up and see that it was 7:30 when I heard him calling. So keep saying your prayers that this continues to go smoothly. Nap time hasn't been as easy but I imagine with the new freedom he has it is hard to wind down and take a nap.

Also, I had a doctor's appointment yesterday and she said everything looks great. My belly was measuring right on track and the baby's heartbeat was 154. So, only a little over 7 weeks till we get to meet this little one.

Peyton's Big Boy Bed

We bought Peyton a toddler bed and finally put it together and in Peyton's room last night. He loves it. He looks so big in it. It was so sad kissing him good night last night with his little head on his little pillow. They grow up way to fast. Last night Peyton was great and went right to sleep. Right now is nap time and it is not going as smoothly. Peyton just wants to play in his room. So hopefully at some point he will just pass out. Keep your fingers crossed. Big Brother

I made Peyton a Big Brother shirt. He loves it but has no clue what this really means. Doesn't he look precious? Its hard to believe that we only have 56 more days till this little one is here.
