Lacy's shower

Lacy's First Wedding Shower

This weekend my Mom and I threw Lacy a wedding shower in Houston. We had a lot of fun and Lacy got a ton of very nice stuff. Kelsey rode down with me and we got to go to the Galleria and shop. We also got to go with Lacy to her last bridal gown fitting and see her in her dress. She looked gorgeous!

Kelsey baby-sat for me while I went to a meeting the night before we left. This is what I came home to find. Hayley helping Kelsey out with some math homework. Don't they look so cute!Kelsey at the Galleria trying on her first diamond ring :)

South by Southwest

Last weekend we got to have some fun adult time without the kiddos. Austin has a music festival called South by Southwest and there are tons of concerts all over downtown Austin. We went to one across the street from Mark's office with some friends. We had a great time listening to some fun music and we got to go to Matt's El Ranch afterwards to have some yummy Mexican food.

Austin Rodeo

Last week Jessica and I took the kids to the Austin Rodeo to see all the animals. Peyton of course loved it. He gets so excited to see all the animals and is not scared at all of any of them. He would have crawled right into their pens if I would have let him.Hayley and Grace hanging out.Right when Peyton saw the cows he was climbing out.Peyton wore his hat, boots, and wranglers. He fit right in.

Laughing

Baby laughs are so cute but it is even cuter when it's her big brother that is making her laugh. Hayley has now decided that she doesn't like her swing, which isn't good for me. However, if Peyton stands there and entertains her she loves it.

I love my cereal!

We started Hayley on cereal a couple of weeks ago and she loves it. I have been meaning to post some pictures of her eating but with two kids eating dinner at the same time I have a hard time taking pictures. I did get some on her first time and Mimi took one the other day. So here is our little girl eating dinner.

Before

First bite

She pretty much spit it all out.

Peyton thought it was funny.

She was very intrigued by her bib.

Here is the picture Mimi took when Hayley has had some practice eating cereal. Now she loves it!

Growing up

Both of these kiddos seem to be growing up so fast. I love both of their ages right now and I know it's going to pass by so quickly. I'm trying to enjoy it as much as I can right now. Here are some random pictures but you can get a glimpse of what our life is like these days.
Hayley loves this froggy lovey. I think it is so precious because Peyton never had a lovey that he slept with. I know I will only think this is cute until we lose it or she wants to bring it everywhere but right now it is so sweet.

We got out the exersaucer today and Hayley loves it. It is so much fun to watch her start to play with things and it also brings back so many memories of Peyton when we first put him in it.

A couple of Peyton's friends got him an awesome batman cave for his birthday and ever since Peyton is obsessed with Batman. He carries him everywhere. It's really cute until we can't find Batman. You can see in this picture he is very small and likes to hide in very hard places to find like in between diapers and in shoes. Now, Peyton wants to be Batman. Everyday he gets this towel and calls it his Batman cape and runs around the house and flies like Batman. Mimi got him some Batman pajamas that comes with a cape. I know he is going to love them and I mean love them. So, next time you see us at the grocery store or church in Batman pajamas you know who to thank.
