Hayley was in a horrible mood, I think she was so exhausted from our trip that she did not want to smile but she still looks cute :)

Pt. Pleasant-Kid Paradise

The kids did great on the plane. They loved looking out the window.

On the beach!

Peyton loved the waves.

Fun in the water. The waves were so big that we were only allowed to put our feet in the first day.

Peyton brought his favorite toy "Spiderman" to the beach. He had fun!

Daddy and Hayley on the beach.

Peyton taking a break next to our pool we set up in the back yard. It was a nice break from the ocean.

I tried to lay out on this chair while the kids played in the pool but Hayley kicked me off.

Peyton and his new Squid from the boardwalk.

Hayley loved filling up the buckets and dumping it on whoever was near.

I love these glasses on Hayley. Too cute!

The kids loved to sit on the front porch and wave to everyone on their way to the boardwalk.

I love this picture even though Peyton's eyes are closed. It melts my heart to see them love each other so much.

The family on the train. You could hear the train from our house and it was like a calling to the kids to ask to go ride the rides.

Mommy and Hayley on the carousel.
Peyton loved the motorcycle.

Nemo!!

Peyton and Hayley on the motorcycle. We didn't let her ride this one the first couple of days because I was afraid she would fall off. She was so excited to be on it with Peyton.

This was Peyton's favorite ride, the Alien roller coaster. He rode it several times and it was pretty fast.

The kiddos on Nemo. This was Peyton's favorite ride when he was Hayley's age and it was Hayley's favorite also. She asked to ride it every day we were there.

Clowns at the funhouse on the boardwalk. The kids loved just going to look at them.
The inlet.
Mommy and Hayley on the boardwalk. We walked up to the boardwalk multiple times a day. Mainly to get something yummy to eat. They have the best pretzels and ice scream and a ton of other goodies. Peyton's favorite thing to get was these gummy teeth. Yes, they were like gummy bears only shaped and colored like teeth. They looked pretty gross but he loved them. We had an awesome trip and look forward to taking these kids back each year.

Project

Here are some more pictures of the new room. We (I say that but mainly Mark) doesn't have too much more to do. Hopefully two more weekends of work and we will be done. He still has to texturize and paint. I can't wait to see it finished. :)

This is the hallway from Peyton's room to the new room.

A view inside.

The soon to be doorway.

Mark and his friend Kevin working hard. Thank you Kevin!!

New Project

We started work on the new baby's room. We are turning our loft into another bedroom. Mark is working really hard on it and doing an amazing job. I am so impressed. Here are some photos of the start of the project.

The room is framed and half off the sheetrock is up. Today he and a friend are working on the rest of the sheetrock and the texturizing. I will post more pictures at the end of the weekend.

Trip to the Firestation

Our playgroup took a visit to the fire station. The fireman were so nice and showed the kids all around the station and then they got to take a look inside the fire truck. The kids loved it!!

Fort Worth

I never posted pictures from our trip to Fort Worth. Before our trips to the hospital we had a blast . If any one's kids likes cowboys it is the place to go. They have a cattle drive that goes down the middle of the street and real cowboys that do shows. The Stockyard is a really cool place to visit and eat. Peyton thought it was really cool and loved talking to the cowboys.

Peyton and Hayley enjoying some M&M's at our hotel.

A man at the cowboy museum gave Peyton this Sheriff's badge. Peyton thought it was the best thing ever. Just like Woody!

Peyton at the Stockyards.

Playing in the dirt. This was one of his favorite things. I guess it is a boy thing!

A real cowboy. Hayley wasn't very excited and did not want to sit in his lap.

Riding on a saddle. Yee Haw!

Hayley didn't think it was as much fun as her brother did.

The cattle drive.

Peyton got to ride a longhorn. This guy actually rode him down the street. I didn't know you could actually ride longhorns. No, we are not promoting liking longhorns :)
We got to meet up with one of my best friend's from college. This is Kimber and her new baby boy Micah. He was the cutest thing ever!!!
Peyton, my poor baby in the E.R. He looked so little in this bed. He was such a tough boy and made everyone laugh.
This is where they had to take his blood and leave in a catheter in case they needed to take more. They called it a dog house, which Peyton thought was very funny.

His favorite part was pretending he was Dr. Peyton and playing with the gloves. It was a very stress full weekend but taught me that in those situations all I can do is pray and try to stay calm. Peyton is doing great and his sed rate levels are still high but the doctor isn't worried. We have to do another blood draw next week to see if they are back to normal. Hopefully, this will be the last because Peyton is not of fan of having his blood taken. I do bribe with candy which helps.
