Christmas Time

To start out our holidays we went to visit Santa. I thought it was going to go great. The kids were so excited to tell him what they wanted for Christmas. Hayley walked right up and told him what she wanted (a tinkerbell camera) but when it came to sitting on his lap she started screaming. They let me hold her on my lap for the picture but she was not happy.
I don't have our scanner hooked up so I tried to take a picture of our Santa picture. I apologize for it looking like this but I think it is hilarious that Tyler is the only one smiling in our picture. Peyton looks like Santa might attack at any moment. I think he was freaked out that Hayley was screaming like Santa was killing her.

Peyton and Avery waiting to see Santa. They are just to cute!

Avery and Hayley would pose for the camera.

Watching the fun shows while the Moms do some shopping.

We had a Christmas Party at the club in our neighborhood. Peyton got his face painted like Spiderman. He was so excited and wouldn't let us wash it off until the next afternoon.

We had Christmas with Mimi and Papa and Great Grandma and Grandpa from Dallas and Uncle John, and of course Uncle Andrew and Aunt Lacy this weekend. The kids had a blast opening their first set of presents and it was so nice to spend time with everyone.

Hayley got this cute kitty cat that purrs when you rub its back. She loves it.

Each year we have a white elephant gift exchange and this is what Uncle Andrew got. I had to take a picture!

Here is Great Grandpa with his gift. Peyton thought this was hilarious!

Last year we started the tradition of making gingerbread houses with the Gunther girls. Everyone had so much fun. More candy was eaten than put on the houses but they turned out cute and was so much fun to watch them decorate.

Peyton and Hayley's gingerbread houses!

We did a game exchange with the Gunther girls. We got a really cool ladybug game and a polar bear letter game. You fish for the letters and spell different words. It is a really awesome game. I love it and so does Peyton.

Thank you hugs!

Happy 4th Birthday Peyton

Mark took Peyton to the ranch this weekend. It was opening weekend for deer season. Peyton had a blast with his Daddy and Pappy Jack all to himself. They had a great time seeing all of the animals and doing boy things.

When they got home we had lunch and sang Happy Birthday. I can't believe he is already four. He is growing so big.

Peyton and Hayley's Bday Party

Peyton was really into being Spiderman this year. He became a total crazy guy with his mask on. He would run around and shoot his web on everyone. He also became quite the dancer.
We had Hayley and Peyton's birthdays together this year and did a Halloween theme. They had so much fun with all of their friends. We got two bouncy houses in hopes that the big kids would stay in one and the smaller kids would go in the other. But, all the kids would

go into one and then they would all get out and go into the other. It was pretty funny

We also got a popcorn and cotton candy machine. It was pretty funny watching Mark try to work the cotton candy machine. It got really good at it but was covered with cotton candy.
Hayley was so excited to have one of her own. She was so sticky afterwards though.

Hayley and Aunt Kelsey
Hayley loved the bouncy houses. Here you can see her crawling on up.

One of our best couple friends came with their twin girls. Here is Ricky and Allie
and Angie and Audrey. Aren't they so precious?

Hayley eating her cake. That is quite the bite.
Uncle Andrew and Aunt Lacy got Hayley this so cute tea party set. She loves it!
Hayley makes Peyton play tea party with her! He is such a sweet big brother and participates but sometimes brings along a transformer to join the party.

Happy Halloween

Peyton and Hayley LOVED Halloween this year. They were so excited about to decorate the house and to make their pumpkins. It was really fun to experience it with them.

We made a Halloween dinner one night. The kids loved the hot dog monsters :)

Here is Hayley's class about to start the Halloween parade at school.

Here is Hayley's class after the parade. She has three of her friends from playgroup in here that go to school with her. Tae (who was Diego), Owen (Micky Mouse), and Benji (who was Woody).

Halloween Morning

Peyton and Avery. I love love love this picture!

The girls

Hayley and Grace were so cute. We brought a wagon for them to ride in but they wanted to be like the big kids and walk to every house. They are growing up way to quickly.

Tyler's first Halloween

Trick or Treat!

Peyton and Avery on their way up to their last house. The kids had so much fun trick or treating with their friends. It is so cute to see them grow up together. :)

Pumpkin Patch

We took the kids to a pumpkin patch in Elgin. It was a lot of fun but was a little hot. I can't wait for our weather to get cooler for good.

We got to go on a hayride. Tyler even came along :)

Hayley got her face painted like a kitty cat. She was so sad when we had to wash it off.

Peyton got a spider and sad would be an understatement when it came to bath time. We had a complete melt down.

One of our best friends and their kids came along with us. Here are their twin girls, Audrey and Allie with Peyton and Hayley.
Here is another attempt at a group photo. We gave up trying to get them to look at the camera. The pumpkins were too interesting.

The kids loved these scarecrows. We let them each pick out a pumpkin. Now we need to decorate them. More pictures to come :)
