Peek-a-Boo

Peyton learned how to play peek-a-boo this weekend. He loves doing it now and it cracks me up everytime.

Nora's Birthday

Nora turned two while we were there. They grow up way to fast. She got lots of fun toys. I am so glad we were able to make it up there to see all of them.

Toys, toys, toys!!!

We went out to eat at a Mexican restaurant for her birthday and they sang to her and gave her this big hat to wear. She wasn't quite sure what to do with with it but doesn't she look so cute in it?
Peyton had to try it on as well.

Family Day at Ft. Benning

While we were there they had family day at the base. They set up all kinds of blow up toys for the kids and had food and rides in tanks. We got to meet some of my brother's friends and the kids had a blast on all of the slides and obstacle courses. I didn't get many pictures because I got volunteered to take the kids on everything. We had fun and it was a great work out :)

Peyton first ride on an army tank. Doesn't he look brave?

My nephew Jacob on his ride in the striker. He loved this helmet.

Chucky Cheeses

My nephew and niece love Chucky Cheeses so whenever Grandma and Grandpa come into town this is where they go. We have been once before but Peyton was a little young and he still is to get all of the fun. But, Peyton got to go down the slide this time with his cousin. He had a lot of fun watching his cousins run all around.

Peyton already loves to drive cars!

Here they are about to go down.

Weeee, all the way down the slide.

Wild Animal Safari

Peyton and I went to visit my brother and his family in their new home at Ft. Benning Georgia. My parents drove us up there last week and we stayed through the weekend. We had a lot of fun visiting with them and seeing Georgia. We went to a Wild Animal Safari and got to drive through the park and feed the animals. It was amazing how they would come up to your window and stick their heads in for food. At first it was a little scary, their tongues were so long and a little to close. The kids had a blast and after I calmed down after the first cow licked me I had fun too!

Here we are headed on Peyton's first Safari.

See how close they get!!

Peyton loved all of the animals. He tried to pet them but Mommy was a little too nervous for that.

The animals were a little slobbery.

It was really neat to be able to see all of these animals up so close.

When they saw the van they would all come running.

Here is my little monkey!

Lions, tigers, and bears OH MY! (We didn't feed them)

The camel was so cute, he came right up to us.

Pictures

We had Peyton's pictures taken again a couple of weeks ago. It was a lot more difficult now that he can crawl off. We got some cute ones so I thought I would share them.

My First Art Lesson

Today at playgroup we did finger painting. I thought Peyton would be a little young for this but he actually had fun playing in the paint. I got one hand print out of him and the rest was just smeared paint but we saved his first picture for his baby book. He also kept trying to wipe the paint on my friends poor dogs. Sorry Jessica if Milo and Maggie are covered in paint.

Maddie showing Peyton how to fingerpaint.

At first Peyton wasn't so sure about the paint.

But, then decided playing in the paint was so much fun.

Peyton's handprint!

Hey Mom, how come you never let me make a mess like this at home?

Hmmm, what else can I do with all of this paint?
Aren't they so cute just in their diapers?

Peyton loves to swing. I need to get one of these for our back porch.

10 Months Old!

Peyton is 10 months old. I can't believe it. He is going to be 1 so soon. It makes me sad that he is growing up so fast. He is all over the place now, I am sure he will be running in no time. He is talking so much more, he can say ball and uh oh. It is amazing how much they learn on a daily basis.

We had to go back to the doctor this month for a weight check. At Peyton's 9 month appointment the doctor was worried because he had only gained a pound since his 6 month check up. But, after he got weighed this week she said he is back on the charts and is doing well. He weighs 19 pounds and 2 ounces. He is getting so big :(

We watched the Aggie game on Saturday and it was a nail bitter but we ended up winning after a triple over time. Peyton was all geared up for the game and so was Mom. It was a fun weekend with just the three of us. We had some good quality time together. Gig 'Em Aggies!!!

Peyton in his Aggie overalls. I can't wait to take him to a game.
