Pumpkin Patch

We took the kids to a pumpkin patch in Elgin. It was a lot of fun but was a little hot. I can't wait for our weather to get cooler for good.

We got to go on a hayride. Tyler even came along :)

Hayley got her face painted like a kitty cat. She was so sad when we had to wash it off.


Peyton got a spider and sad would be an understatement when it came to bath time. We had a complete melt down.

One of our best friends and their kids came along with us. Here are their twin girls, Audrey and Allie with Peyton and Hayley.
Here is another attempt at a group photo. We gave up trying to get them to look at the camera. The pumpkins were too interesting.

The kids loved these scarecrows. We let them each pick out a pumpkin. Now we need to decorate them. More pictures to come :)

Happy 2nd Birthday Hayley

Hayley got this tutu from one of my Mom's friends for her birthday. She loves it and has worn it multiple times now.

We took the kids to Zilker Park and then the Dinosaur park for Hayley's birthday. They had a blast.

We haven't been to Zilker since Peyton was a baby. They have an awesome playground and the weather was so awesome. We rode the train and played on the playscape.

They had this old firetruck on the playground, the kids loved pretending to drive.

We got Hayley some dress up clothes for her birthday. She got a caterpillar, a butterfly, and a shark.

She picked the shark to wear.


And then chased Peyton around.

Happy Birthday Big Girl!

Hayley loved having us sing to her. When I put her to bed that night she asked for me to sing again to her. It was so sweet. I love how she loves for me to sing to her now because it won't be long until she realizes I can't carry a tune.

Grandma got Hayley a kitchen for her birthday. She loves it. When the kids got up in the morning they went to go play. When I was done feeding Tyler this is what I found. I guess when you have an older brother this is what you do with your kitchen.

Meeting Tyler

Mark's Grandparents came in town to see everyone and meet Tyler. It was really nice getting to spend some time with them.

We have a picture of all the kids on his lap when they are about this age.

Avery and Grace also came to meet Baby Tyler. They were so cute and so excited to see him. It was really special. (For those of you who don't know, Avery and Grace are Peyton and Hayley's best buds!)

My Big Carboard Box

My Uncle James sent Tyler some cute clothes this week. They are precious and I can't wait for him to wear them. He sent them in this big box. Who knew the box would be such a hit. It was so cute because Hayley and Peyton made it their clubhouse and played in it for a good hour and a half. It made my evening and theirs!!

Mimi has been awesome and has come over in the mornings to watch Tyler while I take Peyton and Hayley to school. Tyler has grown so much already in his 2 weeks. He is now 21 inches long and is 8 lbs 3 oz.
