Jungle Java

We went to this cool place this morning with some friends. It is called Jungle Java and they serve food and coffee and it has this huge area for the kids to play in. Peyton had the best time running all around. I don't know how he gets so much energy. I tried to keep up with him for awhile but I'm getting bigger by the day and wasn't really fitting into all the small spaces he was. He was perfectly fine going all around by himself. It was really fun watching him have so much fun. Here are some pictures of him and his friends playing. If you haven't been to this place you need to go.

Update

So, after Peyton we found Peyton wandering in our room at 3:00 in the morning the other night we decided we would have to do something so he couldn't get out of his room. We had the monitor on but he did not make a sound to wake us up and let us know that he was not asleep in his bed. Hopefully he came straight to our room and was not up running around the house for hours. Anyways, last night we bought a baby gate to put up in front of his door. He woke up once at 1:00 and was calling me so I went in and put him back in bed and he slept the rest of the night in his big boy bed. I was so excited to wake up and see that it was 7:30 when I heard him calling. So keep saying your prayers that this continues to go smoothly. Nap time hasn't been as easy but I imagine with the new freedom he has it is hard to wind down and take a nap.

Also, I had a doctor's appointment yesterday and she said everything looks great. My belly was measuring right on track and the baby's heartbeat was 154. So, only a little over 7 weeks till we get to meet this little one.

Peyton's Big Boy Bed

We bought Peyton a toddler bed and finally put it together and in Peyton's room last night. He loves it. He looks so big in it. It was so sad kissing him good night last night with his little head on his little pillow. They grow up way to fast. Last night Peyton was great and went right to sleep. Right now is nap time and it is not going as smoothly. Peyton just wants to play in his room. So hopefully at some point he will just pass out. Keep your fingers crossed. Anyways, here are some pictures of him in his bed for the first time.

Big Brother

I made Peyton a Big Brother shirt. He loves it but has no clue what this really means. Doesn't he look precious? Its hard to believe that we only have 56 more days till this little one is here.

We're back

We got back from Port Aransas yesterday. We had a great time. We hung out at the beach for two days and got lots of sun. It was so nice to have some time to ourselves although we did miss Peyton terribly. Peyton did great without us and had a ton of fun with Grandma and Grandpa. Pappy Jack and Peyton

Pappy Jack just got back from a long Harley ride so we went to visit him last night. Isn't this picture so cute!
Tomorrow Mark and I are going to the beach with some of our friends. It will be our last trip before baby #2 comes. My parents are coming to stay with Peyton. This will be the longest we have left him. I am excited to have a relaxing trip but I am going to miss my baby boy terribly. Wish us luck and say a prayer that we have a safe trip.
