Cereal!

We started Peyton on cereal last night. He seem to like it. Mark and I had fun trading off and feeding him. It was pretty exciting and I can't wait to let him try all kinds of new foods.

Peyton's Baptism

Peyton was baptized on Sunday. It was really neat. A bunch of our family and friends were there to celebrate the event. Peyton fell asleep in the middle of it and awoke to the watering being poured over his head. We had a party at our house afterwards to celebrate. It was so awesome to have all of our family together to celebrate this joyous occasion.

Play Group!

Peyton and I joined a play group last week in our neighborhood. On Tuesdays we meet at some one's house and on Wednesdays we meet at the park. Here are some pictures from the park. It was so beautiful outside but it is getting hot.

Peyton is always listening intently to whoever is talking.

Easter

We had a busy Easter this year. Lots of family to see. My parents were in town so we started off the day with Church and then went to lunch with my parents and Mark's Mom and Stephen. Peyton got lots of Easter goodies. After lunch we went over to the McDonald's home for the yearly Easter egg hunt and dinner. It was a lot of fun. We are so blessed to have such a wonderful big family.

My parents got Peyton an Easter present and he seemed to like the bow the best. He got a name train. It is so cute. The letters connect by magnets and spell out his name.Linda and Stephan gave Peyton an Easter basket with this very cute lamb in it and lots of candy for Mom and Dad. :) Isn't this smile precious? Peyton also got two new Dr. Seuss books. Here Nancy is reading the Nose book to Peyton. He is getting a little tired by this picture but really loved these books. In fact he was getting cranky and I tried to take the book away from him and he screamed till I gave it back. We are getting a mind of our own now.

A day shopping with Grandma!

My Mom took Peyton and I shopping on Saturday. Peyton was exhausted by the time we got to Baby Style and had to take a break. Don't you think he needs a chair like this to watch football with his Dad?

My new Bath Duck

Peyton got this duck from Dianne, a very close family friend. He is just now able to sit up so we got to use it this Friday. He loved it. Here he is trying it out before we put it in the bath tub.

What a cutie!!

I was a little nervous letting him sit up in the tub my himself but he did great :) He loves the bath and all of his toys.

Toys!

Peyton is really starting to interact with his toys. It is so much fun watching him play.He really enjoys it. We got this monkey and elephant from his cousins on the Ganter side of the family. I think he wants to kiss the monkey. The teddy bear chair, Mark's Granddad made for Mark when he was a baby. It is really special so we got Peyton to sit in it for a picture.
