May fun

So, I guess now with two kids on the move I am only going to get to post to the blog once a month. Just kidding I will try to post more. Hopefully, we will be done with this house selling business soon and I can go back to not trying to keep my house clean constantly. Here is what we have been up to.I got this sprinkler ball for Peyton for this summer. I figure we won't get to go to the pool. I don't know how I would do it with both of them. He seems to like it as long as his friends are here to play with.
I went with my church group to this place called Buckaroo Ranch. It was kinda like a big petting zoo. Peyton had fun but he would have liked to chase all of the animals around and they kinda frowned upon that. Oh well!!

April so far

I know it has been forever since I posted last but we have been super busy. We just put our house on the market. It is sad to think about moving since we have brought both babies home to this house but we are out growing our little house. The kids sharing a room isn't going as best as we hoped for. We could make it work if our house doesn't sell but I feel horrible when Hayley wakes up Peyton in the middle of the night. Anyways, we have been busy getting it ready and trying to keep it clean in case anyone wants to come by. That sounds easy but trying to to pick up everything a two year old plays with in an hour is more difficult than it sounds especially if the two year old has as much energy as Peyton does. Enough rambling here are some pictures of our April so far.
Hayley is still working on sitting up by herself. She can do it but who knows when she will decide to just fall back so we can't leave her by herself yet. She just starting scooting this weekend. I have a feeling she is going to crawl way before Peyton did. I guess that is what happens with number two they want to be able to go where ever their brother is. Peyton at Mark's company's crawfish party. He loved getting to play with this guy. He was not afraid at all of getting pinched. I tried at first to get him not to put his fingers any where near the pinchers but eventually I had to give up and let him learn on his own. However, the little guy I don't think ever pinched Peyton. Or if he did Peyton didn't seem to mind!
Hayley just hung out in the stroller most of the party. We didn't let her play with the crawfish just quite yet :)

Jessica and I took the kids to take some pictures with the bluebonnets. There weren't a ton where we went but the area was fenced in so it worked. I think they turned out great!

I know your not supposed to pick the bluebonnets but try explaining that to Peyton.

Peyton's school had an Easter egg hunt. It looked like all the kids had a lot of fun. Peyton of course loved all of the candy.Our playgroup also had an Easter egg hunt. I think Peyton was more into the girls than the eggs. Is this a bad sign?

Nap time

So, I have been trying to get the kids to nap at the same time and in the same room. It's not really working. Peyton has a hard time settling down so our deal is he can play in bed but he can't get out. Some days it works and some days it doesn't. Today, Hayley some how fell asleep while Peyton was playing in bed and by the time Peyton finally fell asleep she was awake. This is what I came in to see when I went to get Hayley. I can never understand how he can fall asleep in the middle of playing but I guess he is just that tired.

We took Peyton to get his hair cut yesterday and decided to go for a new look. Check it out. I think it fits his personality great now days. He has been on the wild side.
