Pappy Jack and Peyton

Pappy Jack just got back from a long Harley ride so we went to visit him last night. Isn't this picture so cute!
Tomorrow Mark and I are going to the beach with some of our friends. It will be our last trip before baby #2 comes. My parents are coming to stay with Peyton. This will be the longest we have left him. I am excited to have a relaxing trip but I am going to miss my baby boy terribly. Wish us luck and say a prayer that we have a safe trip.

Backpack and Play dough

We got out the play dough for the first time this weekend. Peyton loved it. I was surprised that he didn't try to eat it. He squished it and tore it all apart. He had a ton of fun. It was perfect for our little guy.

Mimi got Peyton a Dr. Seuss book and it came with a backpack. He loves it and wears it all around the house and wants to take it everywhere. It is so funny. He looks so big with it on.

Peyton and Carolyn

We had a ton of family in town last week for Granny's funeral. I wish they all were under better circumstances but it was great to see everyone. Peyton got to see his cousin Carolyn and absolutely loved her as usual. He followed her everywhere and did whatever she did. We also took them to the pool but with two toddlers to watch there weren't any cameras around. They had a blast playing together and I wish we could get them together more often.

Fun Times

Peyton and I had a ton of fun at home today. Our car wouldn't start this morning so we were stuck at home but Peyton was in the best mood so we had a great time. Here are some pictures from our fun morning.

This was Peyton's 2nd time finger painting. He loved it but was "all done" in 2 minutes so we decided to play in the sprinkler to get all the paint off. He loved the water!

Feeding the Lizard

So, if you know Peyton you know he is not a huge eater. But, apparently all of his animals are. His new thing is to feed all of toys. I say toys because even his blocks get thirsty and need a drink. Here is Peyton feeding his lizard and turtle at breakfast.

SpawMaxwell Picnic

This weekend we had Mark's company picnic. They had it at Emma Long Park, which if you have never been there it is a great place to take the family. There were a ton of trees so it actually wasn't that hot. We also had a great breeze going. Peyton had a ton of fun splashing in the lake and running around outside. I forgot my camera so we don't have many pictures but here are the few they sent me.

The family!!

Mark and Peyton and his buddy Dustin with his son Evan. (We couldn't get the kiddos to look at the camera)

Sea World

A couple of weeks ago we went to Sea World with my parents. Peyton had a blast. It was really really hot but we just went to all the shows which were covered so it wasn't bad. We all had a real fun time. I can't wait to take Peyton again.

Peyton loved it when the dolphins would jump out of the water.

Grandpa and Peyton in their caps! Peyton looking down on all the hungry seals. I love this picture. You could feed the seals. They were so cute begging. Of course, this was probably one of Peyton's favorites. The Birds. We got to feed them nectar. It was so cool. They would just land on your arm and eat. Peyton just wanted to hold them.
All of the shows were so cute!! I couldn't believe Peyton would actually sit through them but he was mesmerized.

Peyton crashed after some fun in the sun. He took a good 1 1/2 nap in his stroller and woke up right before Shamu came on. Peyton demanded on this tub of popcorn. He was so excited.

Peyton's favorite show with all of the characters.

He ran up to them right when they came out and started dancing. Peyton with all of the big kids dancing.
Peyton's first Congo line!

His favorite the shark!
He kept pointing to all of his teeth.

Here is a video of Peyton dancing to the show.
