Pictures

We had Peyton's pictures taken again a couple of weeks ago. It was a lot more difficult now that he can crawl off. We got some cute ones so I thought I would share them.

My First Art Lesson

Today at playgroup we did finger painting. I thought Peyton would be a little young for this but he actually had fun playing in the paint. I got one hand print out of him and the rest was just smeared paint but we saved his first picture for his baby book. He also kept trying to wipe the paint on my friends poor dogs. Sorry Jessica if Milo and Maggie are covered in paint.

10 Months Old!

Peyton is 10 months old. I can't believe it. He is going to be 1 so soon. It makes me sad that he is growing up so fast. He is all over the place now, I am sure he will be running in no time. He is talking so much more, he can say ball and uh oh. It is amazing how much they learn on a daily basis.

We had to go back to the doctor this month for a weight check. At Peyton's 9 month appointment the doctor was worried because he had only gained a pound since his 6 month check up. But, after he got weighed this week she said he is back on the charts and is doing well. He weighs 19 pounds and 2 ounces. He is getting so big :(

We watched the Aggie game on Saturday and it was a nail bitter but we ended up winning after a triple over time. Peyton was all geared up for the game and so was Mom. It was a fun weekend with just the three of us. We had some good quality time together. Gig 'Em Aggies!!!

Peyton's Future Prom Date

We had playgroup yesterday and one of my friends had this awesome ball pit that Peyton loved. Here are some pictures of him and his buddy DeLaney playing in it. They are too cute and I think they make a cute couple.

Water Park

Our playgroup went to a water park near our neighborhood. Peyton had a blast, there was water going everywhere. I can't wait to take him back.

Welcome Baby Evan

Two of our friends from college had their baby boy. Dustin (Evan's Dad) was in Sq. 17 with Mark. This will be the 4th baby boy Sq. 17 has welcomed to the world this year. It is so exciting that these boys will possibly all go to A&M together and will hopefully join Sq. 17

Evan Michael Blankenship was born at 6:50 pm on Saturday, August 25th. He weighed 7 lbs 15 oz, and was 20 inches long. He was born via emergency C-section, but mom and baby are doing great.

Peyton had his first ride on a Harley. (Not really but he did look cute sitting on it)
