Another Project

Mark finished the nursery and added another project to his list. (I will post some pictures of the nursery once the baby is here and we know if it is a boy or girl.) He started refinishing a dresser for Hayley. This dresser was Mark's when he was little. It has been painted a couple of times since then and Mark redid it for Hayley. It turned into a bigger project than planned but turned out so cute!

Also, Mimi got Hayley a real big girl bed and she was so excited. She has slept in it really good. She loves it! Here are some pictures of her new big girl room.

Yes, we still have our passy or as Hayley calls it her pappy. She might have it for life but it makes both of us pretty happy :) (I'm afraid we would have no sleep at our house without it)

Grandma got this for Hayley. I think it is perfect!

School

Both kids started school this past week. Peyton is going 3 days a week and Hayley is going 1 day a week. They both had a great time. I thought Hayley would be upset when I dropped her off but she proved me wrong. She walked right into her classroom with her backpack and started playing with the babies. Peyton loves his class. He has 4 kids in his class that were in his same class last year. They were all so excited to see eachother after the summer. It was really cute to see them all together again. He loves school and can't wait to go each morning.

Last week we got to go up to the school and meet the teachers. Here is Peyton and his teacher Ms. Cindi. She is super sweet and Peyton has already had so much fun with her.

Hayley also got to meet her teachers, Ms. Linda and Ms. Laura. Here is Ms. Laura and Hayley playing. Hayley has two little boys in her class from our playgroup which is great for her. I think it helped the transition.

On another note we are still pregnant. I am due next Thursday the 16th and I am so ready. We are getting really excited to find out what we are having. Peyton is convinced it is a boy but we shall see. We will keep everyone updated.

Hayley's Big Girl Bed

We finished the nursery this weekend and moved all the furniture in. Mark did such an awesome job. I am so proud!!! So, Hayley got a new bed (Peyton's old toddler bed). She calls it her "Big girl bed that Daddy got her". It is really cute. So far she has done really well. She still looks so small in it to me.

Buckaroo Ranch

We went to a friend's birthday party at Buckaroo Ranch this past weekend. Peyton and Hayley were so excited and wore their boots and hats. They got to see goldfish, ponies, a rooster, a bunny, a potbelly pig, and some goats.

Best Friends

Each year Jessica and I have taken pictures of the kids before school starts. It is amazing how much they have grown.

Circus

Grandma and Grandpa came in town and took us all to the circus. We had awesome seats right in the center on the bottom floor. The kids had so much fun and it still amazes me how they get all of those animals to do all of those tricks (especially the elephants). Mark got called down to start off the circus with the clowns. He had to play musical chairs. It was hilarious. We have a video of it that I will try to post later.

The kids love to wait on the front steps for their Grandparents to come. It is really cute how excited they were to go but I was about to die of heat stroke waiting out there.

Daddy and Peyton on the way to the Circus.

Waiting outside for them to let us into the circus. This was our attempt at a family picture.

The kids had so much fun meeting all the circus people. I thought they may be scared but even Hayley took some pictures. No smiles but at least she stood up there.

Grandma and Grandpa spoiled them rotten with snow cones, cotton candy, and fun circus toys. What more could a kid ask for?

This has to be one of my favorite parts. I just think it is so crazy!

Hayley's braids

We went over to a friend's house to play last week and one of our friend's braided Hayley's hair. It was so cute and made her look so big. She was so excited to have her hair done. She couldn't wait to show Daddy. I am practicing but it might take me awhile to make it look this cute :)
