Its A Girl

Baby Hayley Jane McDonald is here. She was born at 11:58 weighing 7 lbs 12 oz and 20 inches. She is currently getting her first bath. Thanks for everyones thoughts and prayers.

We're Here

Well, I went into labor early this morning. I started having contractions around 1 and then we got to the hospital around 4. Its so funny with Peyton I also was scheduled to be induced but went into labor ahead of time. Anyways, now we are just waiting for this precious baby to make its appearance. Please say a prayer for us. We will keep you posted.

Boots

As many of you know Peyton is obsessed with Toy Story. So, for Halloween this year he is going to be a cowboy (Woody). My Mom got him some boots and he loves them. If he sees them he has to wear them and there is no talking him out of it. Even if he is wearing shorts. So, yesterday we took a trip to Costco and Peyton had to wear his boots. He is so proud when he has them on its hilarious. We then went to visit Mimi at work and she happened to have a camera so that everyone can see just how silly he looked. Apparently Mark was a fan of wearing his boots with shorts also so it must run in the family :)

For an update on baby #2: Yes, I am still pregnant and looking forward to meeting this baby as soon as possible :) I am scheduled to be induced on Thursday at 8 am. I am hoping the baby will decide to come on its own before then. We will keep you updated.

Belly Pics

People have been asking for some more belly shots so here we go :)
We had a baby shower for two of my really good friends last week and we took a belly shot of all of us together. We all are due so close together. In order from left to right: Jessica is due November 4th, Katherine is due November 3rd, I am due October 16th (but hopefully this baby will come this week as the doctor expects), and Kathie had her baby on Friday.

Child Safety Festival

This weekend our neighborhood had a child safety festival. You could get your child fingerprinted and get them an ID. They also had all the emergency vehicles there including a helicopter, police vehicles, an ambulance, and a fire truck. The festival also had a ton of other fun things for the kids to do. Peyton got to bounce in a moonwalk, pet some animals in a petting zoo, and he got a puppy balloon from a clown (whom he wasn't very sure about). We had a lot of fun especially because Daddy and Kelsey went with us. It was a fun family outing.

When we first got there the helicopter was about to take off so we got to watch it fly away. Peyton thought that was the best part.
