Point Pleasant

We got to take a trip to Point Pleasant last week. We had a blast. The weather was pretty cool there so we didn't get in the water but we were able to play on the beach. They also have an awesome boardwalk there with lots of places to eat, rides, and stores. We spent some time on the boardwalk and Peyton loved the rides. Here are some of the pictures of our trip. Daddy and Peyton about to head up to the boardwalk.Peyton on the beach! Here is Peyton about to start chasing some birds. If you look closely you can see a seagull. This was one of his favorite things to do on the beach.Mommy and Peyton's feet in the sand. One of the few family pictures we have where everyone is smiling.Mimi and Papa on the beach.Daddy and Peyton on the carousel.Peyton was very fascinated by the horse going up and down.Daddy and Peyton on the Crazy Bus.Mommy and Peyton riding Dumbo.
Mark talked me into letting Peyton ride the rides by himself. I was a nervous wreck but Peyton had a blast. This was his favorite ride. He kept pointing and asking for Nemo. The man running the ride let Peyton ride again because he cried when we took him off.Uncle John was so sweet and drove us into New York for the day. We took the Ferry from Staten Island into Manhattan. Peyton loved being on the boat but wasn't very fond of being made to sit in his stroller. Here we are about to get on the Ferry.
A view of the Statue of Liberty from the boat.Times Square!

Daddy and Peyton in front of the biggest Toys R Us we have ever been to. Times Square was so crowded it was a little overwhelming.
Peyton was amazed at this Dinosaur. It was huge and moved and made scary noises. He still loves dinosaurs after seeing this scary thing.

Fun Times

We had some family come in from Michigan this weekend. We had a great time hanging out with them and catching up. The kids had a great time together. It is so nice to have family with kids the same age. I only wished they lived closer so we could hang out more often but we enjoyed our short time together.

Carolyn and Peyton on the swings. I think this was both one of their favorite things at the park.

Here are some pictures of Peyton's first mohawk. Designed by Daddy and Aunt Kelsey. Peyton loved it!

We took the kids to Zilker Park. It happened to be the one day that the playground was not open but we went on the train. Peyton loved it and I can't wait to take him back.
We also took a trip to Barton Creek Mall. My favorite store Babystyle is closing there so I have been a couple of times lately. Here the little ones are destroying the shoe store. They had fun!Pappy Jack bought two more goats for the ranch. We went with him to pick them up. The guy that he bought them from has a ton of animals. He had lemurs, pigs, turkeys, chickens, donkeys, peacocks, almost any animal you could think of. It was like a Zoo. Peyton loved it!

The Dry Line

We went to the ranch this weekend for Easter. It was so so much fun. Peyton loves the outdoors and had a blast seeing the cows and riding on the 4-wheeler. It is so pretty out there and so relaxing. We had a great time and cannot wait to go again. I didn't take very many pictures but managed to get a couple.

Aunt Kelsey and Peyton on the tractor. One of his favorite things on the ranch.

Bambi and Jessie also had a blast at the ranch. They ran all over the place and chased the cows. They had to have a good brushing before we left.

Kelsey climbing the windmill!
Aunt Kelsey and Peyton and the dogs taking a walk.

Peyton pretending to drive. He loved to honk the horn.
Peyton's chair at the ranch. If anyone else sat in it he would say "NO NO".
Uncle Cade and Peyton! Kelsey and me hanging out, we had some great girl time!

Mark and Peyton on the 4-wheeler. We also took a family ride which was so fun but I don't have a picture of it. Of course Peyton had to sit in front.

Petting Zoo

They had a Petting Zoo at church this weekend. Peyton absolutely loved it. I wish I had my video camera because I cannot explain and you can't tell from the pictures how much he enjoyed the animals. He ran around and tried to pick up everything. His favorite was the birds. It was really funny. In fact they gave us their card and said they had never seen a kid Peyton's age so into the animals. Here are some pictures I tried to capture. Although, they do not give justice to just how excited Peyton was to see all of these animals.

Peyton and the goat. Not one of his favorites.

He loved this guy and even tried to carry him off.

Baby bunnies!!
His all time favorite.
